At Vanlommel, we closely monitor the life cycle of each animal using the Vanlommel Information System. This system enables us to monitor the origin, nutrition and medication history of each individual calf. This gives us a constant insight into the health and well-being of each individual animal.
Monitoring and guidance tailored to each animal
Vanlommel also works closely with calf farmers. Every week, a Vanlommel supervisor visits to discuss the calves' progress. The calf farmer knows every detail about the animals, discussing this with the representative. Veterinarians verify the health status of the calves on site so that we can work together to ensure their welfare.
